On 27 August 2019, MIAC Co-Registrar and Young ICCA Events Coordinator, Ms. Susan Kimani, hosted a Young ICCA Skills Training Workshop in Nairobi, Kenya. The theme of the Workshop was the Basics of International Arbitration, focusing on two topics: “Initiating Arbitral Proceedings: How and Where to Start” and “Arbitration under Bilateral Investment Treaties: A Case Study of the Cortec Mining Kenya Limited & Others v.
